This online program will allow students to utilize their education and skills in a variety of legal settings. Paralegals are an important part of the legal team. They conduct legal research, draft articles of incorporation, 起草遗嘱, interview clients – to name a few tasks. They keep abreast of legal trends, and updates in the law. Degree Requirements
The associate's program requires completion of a total of 60 credits online:
- 31 credits in general education
- 25 credits in 律师助理研究
- remaining credits are elective courses
The curriculum assures that our students become acquainted with many fields of study, with a focus on a wide range of legal specialty courses necessary for a career as a paralegal.
Prior college credits may be transferred into the AS degree. 研究生s frequently continue to complete the bachelor's degree.

Prospective AS students with 30人或以上 transferable credits from other colleges must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. 另外, official transcripts from all previously attended colleges must be sent directly to the 入学 Office.
Prospective AS students with 更少的 than 30 transferable credits from other colleges will be considered for admission based upon:
- transferable credits from other colleges with a minimum GPA of 2.0,
- high school transcripts or GED scores,
- professional work experience and/or desire to pursue paralegal education, and
- official transcripts from all previously attended colleges must be sent directly to the 入学 Office.

Please note: High School transcripts are required for review purposes if a student has less than 30 credits from another institution when applying to UHart. High School transcripts are required for financial aid purposes for students who have less than 60 credits transferring into their program of study at UHart.
